Millions of people all over the world publicly demonstrated their support for racial justice.

Following another police killing and hundreds of demonstration throughout the world, more than 90.000 people gathered in the streets of Melbourne to demand racial justice.

As part of a rally organized by the community organization Warriors of Aboriginal Resistance, which demands justice for all Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander deaths in police custody, these were the street impressions outside the Victorian parliament. Organizers were later fined by the State of Victoria for not adhering to social-distancing guidelines.

Organizers shared stories about many aboriginal people who have died under police custody and from police brutality. The streets were filled with families and individuals from all backgrounds.

“We’re tired of injustice. That’s why we’re here!”
